| May 1 | BB#1 yearling entries close |
| June 1 | Blood can now be drawn for Coggins Test – ALL horses in the sale
(Yearling/Mixed) |
| June 15 | Yearlings withdrawn after this date (6/15) will be charged accordingly |
| June 30 | Signed yearling contracts, Stakes Engagements, signed/released Registrations (USTA or Standardbred Canada) are due |
| July 4 | Holiday – SHSC OFFICE CLOSED |
| July 26 | - All Yearling Sale yearlings must be named by this date - Black Book #2 (Mixed Sale) catalog opens for entries - Contracts sent to consignors |
| August 1 | Consignors receive a copy of yearling pedigrees with Stakes Engagements for their review and update (date subject to change) |
| August 26 | Final Pedigree proof to consignors |
| September 2 | Holiday – SHSC OFFICE CLOSED |
| September 9 | Yearling pedigree updates and/or corrections are due |
| September 12 | Black Book #1 files to catalog printer |
| September 13 | Black Book #1 available online |
| September 26 | Black Book #1 Arrive at Farm |
| September 27 | Mail Black Book #1 |
| October 1 | -Yearling Sale halter tags distributed, showing horses' location - Please use tags when shipping in (Supplement halter tags will be sent after catalog closing) Mixed Sale tags will be sent as soon as mixed sale is located an hipped. |
| October 6 | Mixed Sale catalog (Black Book #2) closes (this is a firm date) |
| October 9 | Mixed Sale Owner Statements due from Consignors |
| October 16 | Black Book #2 files to catalog printer |
| October 17 | Black Book #2 available online |
| October 23 | If you have not already done so, please submit the signed/released Registration, Mating Certificates for in-foal Broodmares and Coggins test. |
| October 25 | Black Book #2 will be delivered to Office |

| October 31 | Signed/Released Registration (USTA or Standardbred Canada), Coggins Test, Mating Certificates, etc., MUST be on file. A penalty charge of $50 per document per day may be assessed to the consignor for documents not on file by this date. |

| IMPORTANT REMINDERS · ALL yearlings must be registered/DNA tested (USTA or Standardbred Canada) · Mixed Sale Weanling entries must be registered/DNA tested (USTA or Standardbred Canada) · Signed contracts, stakes engagements must be submitted for yearlings and racehorses to be included in the Mixed catalog. Signed/released Registration and Mating Certificates must be submitted for in-foal Broodmares. No in-foal Broodmares will be sold without a Mating Certificate. |
